WEATHER

Weather what does it mean to us Indians?
Nothing maybe

Weather what does it mean to British?
WORLD !!!!

Yup you read it right WORLD. Can you imagine weather is world for some people (you can include me also in that officially NOW)

Here people's mood depends upon weather. How freaky and funny it sounds. Coming from a country where weather is not very important thing to talk about I always
found it difficult to join the conversation where people are displaying their knowledge on Weather (now I can understand how traffic can be a topic of conversation since I made Mumbai as my second home from past 10 years). But as months passed by, I myself realized the importance of weather in this country. Now I can jump into any talks related to weather without fear of getting kicked ;-) (and believe me I myself open weather topic) My everyday routine changed as days passed. 6 months back I use to logon and use to start my daily work (like a sincere employee now you all know what lies beneath that statement ;-)) with obviously checking mails. Now the first thing I do after logging is open www.weather.co.uk Hahahahaha I myself find it very funny but you can't get out without even thinking about weather. When people join us from India we greet then with a big smile (isn’t it obvious) and with 'Welcome back to seeing weather everyday'

It is really amazing (and sometime really frustrating) to see weather here. In a day you can witness all four seasons (u don't believe it? trust me even I didn't trust my own eyes at the start). Morning will offer you bright and little sun (that’s an illusion I realized it later) same day afternoon will pour rain and darkness on you and evening with its full grace will shower white cotton balls (which we all say snow). I have survived here in winter which is dull, depressing (why depressing??? won't you feel depress when it starts getting darker at 4:00 and at 5:30 pm it feels like 7:00 pm) nothing compared to Mumbai :-(. In these 6 months I have hardly seen SUN (Ohhh I so much love him now) and you can't believe how desperately I am waiting for summer and temperature to roar up to 30 degree and more. Have you ever seen a small boy waiting for clock to turn 12 on Christmas night? Well I can match my feeling to that. And the joy you can see on his face after opening his X'mas gift will match to my joy after seeing sun and temperature as 32 degree. I never realized how much I Love SUN but now I am getting desperate to have a glimpse (no glimpse won’t be enough I need him for full 8 hours now) of him.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY
LET ME MAKE PLAN
FOR BRIGHT AND SUNNY DAYS
WINTER YOU WERE WONDERFUL
AND I LOVED YOU
BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR SUN TO SHINE TOO

(Can’t trust myself that I jot down stupid lines on weather)
